One-stop shopping in real estate will be the focus of the Real Estate Services Providers Council's
annual conference slated for April 5-7, in Washington, D.C.
Real estate industry researcher Weston Edwards, Ph.D., of Weston Edwards
& Associates, will host a panel successful one-stop shopping network
leaders, who will share their ideas for promoting a diversified menu of real
estate, mortgage, title and insurance services.
Edwards' 2004 study on one-stop shopping in the residential real estate
brokerage industry concluded that the key to success in one-stop shopping is
building a complete one-stop shopping culture in your company-a whole thought
process change from top to bottom that causes everyone to consider and promote
all of the company's offerings as "core services." Edwards and a
panel of industry leaders who have achieved the nation's highest capture rates
will talk about how they did it and ongoing challenges.
The RESPRO Annual Conference, titled "Join the One-Stop Shopping
Revolution," also will offer more than 25 educational sessions focusing on
available business structures, cross-marketing strategies, regulatory
compliance tips and legislative trends that will enhance their ability to
expand their market share through partnerships with providers from other
industries.
RESPRO is a national, non-profit trade association of real estate broker-owners,
real estate franchisers, mortgage lenders, title insurers and agencies, home
builders, technology companies and home service providers.
